Lloyd Bannings is back in his hometownafter having met his brother and joining an organization called the Crossbell Police Department. However, he finds himself placed in a small, shaky new section, named”the Special Support Section, which does odd work and assists people in need. He and his new team members slowly realize that their bustling city has a sinister criminal underbelly…as well as some terrifying mysteries.

Crossbell is the new exciting chapter in The Legend of Heroes! The site of an ongoing territorial struggle among both the Erebonian Empire as well as the Republic of Calvard, Crossbell has developed into a prosperous city-state and one of the top continent-wide economically-driven centers.
After three years of being away from his home town, Lloyd Bannings returns in attempt to follow in brother’s footsteps , and become a member of his brother in the Crossbell Police Department. When he finally arrives, he finds he’s been transferred to the Special Support Section, a department which is new and handles the odd and small requests. He meets his new teammates that include Elie MacDowell who is the grandchild of the mayor’s daughter; Randy Orlando, a womanizing former soldier; and Tio Plato, a budding technology guru.
Lloyd and his coworkers continue their quest for a more livable city, even if the department they work for is criticized by media. When they are doing this, however they are slowly confronted with the corruption that is sweeping their city. They’re unaware of just how deep the Shadows in Crossbell City reach…
