Obsidian’s role-playing historical games take inspiration from the concept of character growth and highly stylized artwork. They also feature choice-driven storytelling that takes place in 16th-century Germany. The central character is an accomplished illustrator, involved in a series of murders that took place at Kiersau Abbey over twenty five years. Only this character has the ability and determination to expose the killers, but every move he makes is a long-lasting one that will lead him towards the truth of an unsolved conspiracy.
